    Thanks for making this website.

Discovered it last night. I am keen to read through this all the way.

I believe that “cloning” a superinvestor, might be the right way for me as well. I started investing about 1.5 year ago and still have a lot to learn. That’s why copying professionals seems a very good idea. I am still figuring out how to use websites like dataroma.com to get insight in how these superinvestors act, especially to check at what price they bought their stocks.

    Thx

Yes I agree that cloning is a good idea. Why not copy what the best are doing. The key is to choose the “best” managers to copy. I wrote an article about that which I guess you have already read. The only downside with cloning the superinvestors is that it will limit you to mostly large cap companies, as micro caps is too small for most funds to buy

    Hi Jan,

Found your videos on Youtube, it is very interesting automated spreadsheet..but will it work in another market beside US?
for example Indonesia (IDX) because i live in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.

    thanks,
    Bagus

Hi Bagus. No my experience is that the automated spreadsheet works best with US stocks. I have found that the automated spreadsheet works with the stocks on the bombay stock exchange. Probably because the tickers are unique. Not so much luck with other countries. I can try the spreadsheet with Indonesian stocks. Do you have some stock tickers that I can try with?

        Hi Jan,

Sure…there are many tickers we can found in google finance (ex: IDX:ASII ; IDX:BBNI ; IDX:BBRI)

i have try to make some DCF model spreadsheet using google and google finance btw, but unfortunately (i thought it’s less powerful than yours) :)…

oh ya, and you mention that your WBSS won’t work well in financial industry; here in Indonesia the financial sector are the most interesting market sector.

        talk soon,
        Bagus

Hi Bagus. The spreadsheet are actually able to retrieve the financial data for all the stock you mentioned. But as you say the spreadsheet does not work well on financial companies. The fist one however (Astra) gets analysed properly by the spreadsheet.

        Stock Price 5375.00
        Intrinsic value 7740
        Buyprice 5418
        Margin of safety 31%
        Total quality score 29%
        Company Quality Low
        Buy/hold/sell? Consider buy
